Online Therapy in Alabama

Trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, trauma, major life transitions, chronic stress, and the pressure of holding everything together.

You can be functioning and still not be okay.

Maybe you're the person everyone relies on. You handle the responsibilities, solve the problems, show up for work, take care of the people around you—and keep moving.

But underneath all of that, you may be dealing with anxiety that won't shut off, experiences you can't quite put behind you, relationship or career changes, chronic stress, grief, or simply the realization that pushing through isn't working anymore.

Therapy doesn't have to be about falling apart. Sometimes it's about recognizing that the way you've always managed things isn't getting you where you want to go next.

Therapy that is practical, collaborative, and actually sounds like a conversation.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in mental health and social services to my work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, major life transitions, and chronic stress.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and integrative, drawing heavily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with mindfulness, EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches selected to fit the individual rather than forcing every person into the same treatment model.

I work particularly well with people who are accustomed to being capable—the professionals, veterans, first responders, caregivers, and problem-solvers who may be very good at functioning even when something underneath isn't working.

Therapy with me isn't about clinical jargon or sitting silently while you do all the talking. Expect honesty, curiosity, humor when appropriate, and meaningful work toward understanding what's happening and what you want to do differently.

Areas I Can Help With

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons, and you don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. My areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety and chronic worry

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Depression and feeling stuck or disconnected

  • Major life transitions and adjustment

  • Relationship and interpersonal challenges

  • Grief and loss

  • Chronic stress and burnout

  • Substance use and recovery-related concerns

  • Identity, values, and questions about what comes next

  • Experiences related to military service, first responder work, and other high-stress professions

When appropriate, EMDR may be incorporated into treatment as part of a broader, individualized approach.

Online Therapy Throughout Alabama

I currently provide secure telehealth therapy to adults throughout Alabama, allowing you to meet from the privacy and convenience of your own space without being limited by where you live in the state.

I am relocating my practice to Alabama's Eastern Shore and will be based in Baldwin County beginning in December 2026. I anticipate adding in-person appointments in the Fairhope/Daphne area in early 2027 once office space is established.

Whether you're in Baldwin County, Mobile, Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, or elsewhere in Alabama, online therapy allows us to work together now rather than waiting for in-person services to become available.

Insurance & Getting Started

I believe therapy should be accessible without making the process unnecessarily complicated. I work with several major insurance plans through my credentialing partners, and private-pay options are also available.

Because insurance participation and coverage can vary by state and individual plan, eligibility and benefits should be verified before beginning services.

Not sure whether I'm the right fit? You're welcome to reach out to discuss what you're looking for, ask questions about availability, and determine whether working together makes sense.
